Short Résumé: Dennis W. Harris, D. Phil, has served as Chief Scientific Officer since the acquisition of Serologicals Corporation by Millipore in July 2006. He was Vice President, Research & Development, Business Development and Chief Scientific Officer at Serologicals from May 2004. Prior to joining Serologicals, Dr. Harris served in senior management positions with responsibilities in research and development and business development for several biotechnology-based life science companies, including Amersham-Pharmacia Biotech, ACLARA Biosciences and Vitra Biosciences. He is also a founder and Secretary of Microchip Biotechnologies Inc. Dr. Harris earned his B.Sc. and D. Phil. degrees in biochemistry at the University of Sussex (U.K.)
