Biography
| Dr. Hong received his Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics from Texas A&M University in 1993. He finished his Postdoc. training at the University of Texas at Austin. He then became Assistant Professor, Associate Professor and Full Professor of Mathematics at East Tennessee State University. As a visiting professor, Dr. Hong taught actuarial science courses and collaborated research projects on Qauntitative Proteomic Data Analysis at Mathematics Department and Ingram Cancer Center of Vanderbilt University, respectively. Since 2005, Dr. Hong joined Middle Tennessee State University as a Full Professor of the Department of Mathematical Science.
